Alias: monopotassium phosphate CAS No. : 7778-77-0 Molecular formula: KH2PO4 MW: 136.08 Character: colorless cubic crystallization or white crystal powder, Melting point is 252.6. The relative density is 2.338, and it dissolves in water. Its aqueous solution is acidity. But doesn’t dissolve in ethanol. Heat it up to 400 centigrade, melts and becomes transparent liquid. After refrigerating, it becomes opaque potassium met phosphate. And it is easy to deliquesce. Uses: used as a fertilizer, flavoring agent, brewing yeast culture agent, and used in medicine and manufacturing of potassium meta-phosphate. |
