In enzymology, a diisopropyl-fluorophosphatase (EC 3.1.8.2) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction:diisopropyl fluorophosphate + H2O<-> diisopropyl phosphate + fluoride. Thus, the two substrates of this enzyme are diisopropyl fluorophosphate and H2O, whereas its two products are diisopropyl phosphate and fluoride. This enzyme belongs to the family of hydrolases, specifically those acting on ester bonds phosphoric-triester hydrolases. It employs one cofactor, divalent cation. At least one compound, Chelating agent is known to inhibit this enzyme. https://www.creative-enzymes.com/product/Native-Diisopropylfluorophosphatase_1132.html
