Engineering Controls:
Use appropriate engineering controls such as exhaust ventilation and process enclosure, to ensure air contamination and keep workers exposure below the application limits.
Personal Protection Equipment:
Respiratory protection:
If exposed to particulates/aerosols: Use at least a NIOSH-approved N95 half-mask disposable particulate respirator.
If exposed to organic vapors: Use a NIOSH/MSHA-approved organic vapor respirator. CCROV: CCR with organic vapor cartridge.
A NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator with ammonia/methylamine cartridges should be used to protect against ammonia or amine inhalation exposure.
Protective gloves: Natural and butyl rubber.
Eye protection: Chemical goggles, safety glasses with sides.
Other protective equipment: Chemical resistant clothing to prevent skin contact. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
General Hygiene Considerations: Work clothing should be washed separately at the end of each work day. Disposable clothing should be discarded, if contaminated with product.
【TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION】
long term inhalation of particulate can cause irritation, inflammation and/or permanent injury to the lungs. Illnesses such as pneumoconiosis, pulmonary fibrosis, chronic bronchitis, emphysema and bronchial asthma may develop.
