Polyacrylic Acid(PAA)
Properties: PAA is colorless or light yellow transparent liquid which is a low molecular weight polymer of acrylic acid. It’s one of the most widely used poly carboxylic acid type water treatment agent at present. It not only has a good scale inhibition effect, but also has a good dispersion effect on calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate. As a result, it’s often used with organic phosphate. Usage: PAA mainly used as scale indicator in circulation chilled water system of industry and air-condition. Items Index appearance colorless or light yellow transparent liquid solid content% ≥30 free monomer(as acrylic acid) % ≤0.5 intrinsic viscosity（30℃），dL/g 0.055-0.10 density (20℃)g/cm3 ≥1.08 PH (1% solution) ≤3.0 Method of Use: The general dosage is 3-15ppm. Packing: Using polyethylene plastic barrel packing and a barrel’s net weight is 25kg. Storage Conditions: It should be stored in ventilated and dry warehouse, and the storage period is ten months. |
