Polychloroprene, SN244:
Introduction SN244 is a mercaptan modified chloroprene rubber with excellent adhesive strength and produced using a Nairit recipe and process technology. SN244 has a high crystallization rate and can be seen as an equivalent to the AD-40 grade from Dupont. Characteristics The highest viscosity of the SN24x series Fast crystallization rate and strong cohesion Excellent and fast film forming properties, the films are easily and safely processed for longer times Can be dissolved in toluene or mixed solvents Good resistance to oil, chemicals, sunshine and abrasion Good flame retardency Appearance White or light yellow chips. No solid impurities except talcum. Comparable grades Dupont: Neoprene AD-40 Denka: Denka A-120 Lanxess: Baypren 350 Application SN244 is a basic raw material for adhesive formulation, particularly for formulations of higher viscosity. It can be used alone or mixed with other grades to achieve the desired viscosity. As an adhesive raw material it finds wide application bonding leather, wood, metal and construction materials. |
