Detailed Description: |
Potassium Humate is the potassium salt of humic acid. It is made commercially by alkaline removal of Leonardite (brownish charcoal) or peat and is utilized as a soil conditioner Known for their high ph value and accurate composition, these products are used in agro chemicals The extraction is performed in water with the addition of potassium hydroxide (KOH), sequestering agents and hydrotropic surfactants. Heat is used to increase the solubility of humic acids and hence more potassium humate can be extracted. Moreover, these also act as a soil conditioner and activator, which helps in sustaining the growth of the plants in different environment conditions. This boosts the release of enzymes of plants and maximizes the growth of algae, yeast and other microorganisms. With 60-65% of humic acid and 9-10% of potassium in the composition, these chemical flakes increase the availability of micro-nutrients, root respiration, water holding capacity, and photosynthesis in plant and also stimulates plant enzymes Potassium Humate also carries with it hormones and vitamins which promote germination as well as greater plant growth. Humic Acid is a virtual storehouse of not only micro-nutrients, but also, holds the essential macro-nutrients nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium
Application It reduces toxic substance when applied to soil. Increases the viability and germination of seed Increases photosynthesis in plants Stimulates plant enzymes Increases the permeability of plant membranes, which increases the uptake of nutrients Increases root respiration and formation Potassium Humate improves the soil environment to it’s optimum, which is needed for the uninterrupted growth of various groups of beneficial micro-organisms. Target Crops Ornamental plants, grass lawns, cereals, pulses, oil seeds, vegetables, flower crops & spices, medicinal plants and commercial crops like sugar cane, cotton, fruit trees, orchard, green house, nurseries etc. |
