Properties: light yellow powder, non-poisonous, having strange bitter odour. Specific gravity: 1.42-1.52, melting point: 170°C min, soluble in benzene, chloroform, CS2, alcohol, acetone, caustic and alkali metal carbonate solution, slightly soluble in got water, insoluble in petrol and cold water. Combustible, low limit of combustion: 25G/cm3, explosive In powder.
