At present,our ball mill can be divided into: cement ball mill, tube ball mill, cone ball mill, ceramic ball mill, and intermittent overflow, lattice-type ball mill.Compared with the ball diameter of foreign steel ball used in ball mill grinding operation,we can find:in the consistent case of the ball mill specifications and the feed particle size,our ball size used in milling operations is obviously much larger than foreign,about more than 20%, plus unreasonable system of additional ball in milling operations in China,resulting in steel ball in milling operations is much larger than the foreign steel ball size,which worsened the grinding process,and made the development of ball mill in China be faced with some major problems. 1.Ball mill configuration is quite expensive:because the ball mill cylinder speed is very low (15 per minute to 25 rpm),if using ordinary electric motor drive,it needs configure expensive reduction gear device. 2.Production costs is high: at the time of impacting abrasive material,grinding body itself is also subject to grinding strip, liners and other parts of the cylinder body is also grinding stripped throughout the cement production process, grinding operations (raw material preparation, grinding cement)consumesa large amount of iron. According to the analysis, about every production of one ton of cement consumes about one kilogram steel. 3.Low work efficiency: according to analysis, the input power of the cement ball mill for pulverizing material (doing useful work) the power consumption only accounts for a small portion,about 5% to 7%, while the most of the power consumption is in other aspects, mainly transformed into heat energy and sound energy and then disappeared, which is a big waste. 4.The bulky body type: large ball mill can be large more than a few hundred tons, so the one-time investment must be very great. |
