TECHNICAL DATA SHEET Item No.: Silibase-284035 Product Name: Silicone Wax Equivalent Product: DC -2503 C20-C24 Alkyl Dimethicone [INCI/CTFA] Features Benefits Organosilicone wax Non-toxic and non-irritating Compatible with many organic ingredients Silky and emollient feel Outstanding lubricating and glossing properties Ideal ingredients for color cosmetics Moisturizing and hydrophobic Description Silibase-284035 series are alkyl modified dimethicone products. The products, with light wax smell, are ideal ingredients for personal care, especially in color cosmetics (lipstick, eyebrow pencil, etc), hair care, and skin care. With three kinds of melting points, the products could meet the needs of different customers. Silibase-284035 series are non-toxic and non-irritating. Applications Applied in all kinds of personal care products, including: Color cosmetics: such as lipstick, eyebrow pencil. Hair care Skin care: sun-proof cream, etc. How to use Melt the product and mix with other ingredients on the basis of formulation. The reference formulation guide of lipstick as following: Ingredients Wt (%) Cosmethicone® Silibase-284035 35 Cosmethicone® SF-240-55 45 Castor 10 Isopropyl myristate 10 Procedure: Heat and melt oil phase. Add perfume to the oil phase. Pour the mixture to lipstick mold. The recommended usage level is 4%-12% in most applications. Package Cosmethicone®Silibase-284035 is supplied in 15Kg plastic pails, Samples are available upon request in bottles. Storage and Transport Cosmethicone®Silibase-284035 Wax series are non-dangerous products. In storage and transportation, prevent from the exposure of moisture acids, alkalis, and other impurities. The products have at least 24 months shelf life from the date of production at room temperature in seal-tight condition. Cautions Cosmethicone®Silibase-284035 series are neither tested nor suggested in the medical and pharmaceutical applications.
