In the ether and diethylene glycol dimethyl ether at 0 ℃,it can be used as reduction of ketones, aldehydes and acyl chloride, not of fatty acid ester and acrylic, but can restore benzene ester of fatty acids and alicyclic acid, tetrahydrofuran,etc. - Also used as a reducing agent in medicine, spices, pesticide, dyes and other organic synthesis.
