2.1 Stearic acid is the most common of the long-chain fatty acids;
2.2 It is widely used as a lubricant, in soaps, cosmetics, food packaging, deodorant sticks, toothpastes, and as a softener in rubber.3 Properties

3.2 Very toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment;
3.3 Turn pale and brown yellow when meet lights;
3.4Its Gravity is 1.160(20oC),boilpoint is 302℃. little soluble in water,soluble in alcohol,ether,benzene.
