Chemical Name: Tetrabromobisphenol A bis (allyl ether) CAS NO.: 25327-89-3 Molecular Formula: C21H20Br4O2 Molecular Weight: 624 B401 is also used in low levels with other flames retardants, such as HBCD to provide a synergistic response to fire tests. B401 has excellent UV stability and styrene solubility for broad range of uses. Tech Spec: Item Index Appearance White Powder Content of bromine ( % ) ≥51.0 Melting Point (ºC) 115-120 Loss on Drying max (LOD %) ≤0.3 Application: B401 is an aromatic brominated flame retardant that is especially efficient, as an additive flame retardants for EPS and in foam polystyrene. The unsaturated end groups provide unique function of initiating the flame retardant’s performance. Package and Storage: B401 is packed in 25kg bag.
