Contraindications and cautions: (1) Contraindicated with allergy to lidocaine or amide-type local anesthetics, CHF, cardiogenic shock, second- or third-degree heart block (if no artificial pacemaker), Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, Stokes-Adams syndrome.
