Herb Source: From the root or rhizome of the Valeriana officinalis L. Active Ingredients: Mainly contains Volatile oils. The main ingredients is Bornyllsovalerate, Valer-anone, Valerianine, hatinine, Valeric Acld, 1sovalericAcid and so on. Purity: Valeric Acid 0.4-0.8% Tested By HPLC. Pharmacology: It`used as sedatives, which can strengthen the cortex`s inhibition process, reduce the excitability, smooth muscle, avoid spasm. Mergeing with bromine,it`s used in a variety of neural excited state, used to cure the cardiovascular neurosis, hyperthyroidism. In addition, It has antihypertensive effect. And else, the total alkaloids have antibacterial effects, especially against Gram- positive bacteria. |
