Compared to Xanthan gum, it provides better thermal stability and may be utilized in deep wells drilling. Application: WELAN GUM biopolyer is a high efficiency, pseudoplastic viscosifier and suspension agent used in water based drilling, workover and completion fluids. Welan gum is also used in hydraulic fracturing fluids and cementing grouts.
