Yohimbine Extract Yohimbine HCl for Male Enhancement and Weight Loss

Description:

Yohimbine is a chemical that is derived from the bark of the yohimbe tree, a tall evergreen. While the tree is native to Western Africa, supplements containing yohimbine are sold across the world due to the chemical's wide variety of benefits. Yohimbine is a common ingredient in energy drinks and sports nutrition supplements.

Specifications:

Yohimbine HCl (Extract)
CAS NO: 65-19-0
Assay: 98% by HPLC
Plant original: Pausinystalia Yohimbe
Molecular Formula: C21H27ClN2O
Molecular Weight: 390.904
CAS NO: 65-19-0
Indications and Uses: Yohimbine hydrochloride is indicated as a sympathicolytic and mydriatic. It may have activity as an aphrodisiac.

Applications:

1. Fat Loss:

Yohimbe and other alkaloids in the bark extract are said to block specific receptors that actually inhibit fat loss. A three-week study in 1991 observed 20 obese females on 1,000-calorie diets. They were given 20 mg of yohimbe each day and lost three pounds more than the group receiving placebos. Not a drastic weight loss, but enough to give experts hope that yohimbe can help with weight loss. Other studies have found that yohimbe increases the amount of non-esterified fatty acids, a result of fat breaking down. More research is needed. Most other studies in the field are done using the drug yohimbine. Extracted chemicals are not the same as yohimbe bark. Studies with yohimbine are expected to give different results than studies that used the raw plant.

2. Appetite Suppressant:

Yohimbine also has another advantage for dieters--appetite suppression. Studies have shown that supplementation with yohimbine reduces overall calorie intake by neutralizing feelings of hunger.

Interestingly, one study found that yohimbine reduced carbohydrate and fat intake, but not protein intake. This assists in appetite suppression because protein increases feelings of fullness. Your body also burns more calories digesting protein than it does digesting carbohydrates or fat.

3. Sexual Health:

Yohimbine HCl has shown to rapidly increase the Libido of both men and women and its properties as an aphrodisiac are well known throughout the scientific world. Yohimbine HCl increases the sex drive of men and is even used to treat hypoactive sexual desire disorder (under active libido) in women.

Its most pronounced sexual effect appears to be in its treatment of Erectile Dysfunction in men and has shown to even increase penile girth (the width of the male penis). Through its effect on minor corpus cavernosum smooth muscle relaxation, the vasodilatation caused increases blood flow to the penis exponentially. Continual use of Yohimbine HCl is required to achieve these results as it cannot be achieved through casual or one time usage.

Yohimbine HCL Dosage:

There does not seem to be a generally accepted recommended dosage level for this supplement. However, the studies and research indicate that the dose should be more or less dependent upon your reason for taking Yohimbine HCL. As a weight loss supplement, 20 mg per day seems to be reasonably effective. On the other hand, as a possible treatment for erectile dysfunction you might want to use 5 to 10 mg as needed.
