Chemical Formula: ( 2ZnO .3B2O3 ) CAS NO: 1332-07-6 Grade/Item ( 2ZnO .3B2O3 ) Excellent grade First grade Whiteness 99 95 Surface water % ≤ 0.1 0.5 P article size , um 6-8 6-8 Pb, PPM < 10 20 Cd, PPM < 5 10 ZnO , % 42.0-44.0 B2O3, , % 55.0-57.0 Loss on ignition, % 500 ℃ 1 Fineness (Residue on 45um sieve ) , % ≤ 0.1 Specific gravity, g/cm 3 2.6 Melting point , ℃ 980 Decomposition Temp, ℃ ,> 600 Refractive index 1.58 Applications: ZB23 is anhydrous in its formulation, it is still stable up to 600 ℃ , so it can be used in some process es that is in very high temperature, such as extruders,calendars, or injection molding equipment etc. ZB23is used as one flame retardant and smoke suppressant in some polymers, such as polyetherketone,polysulfone, fluoropolymer, polyester and nylon etc . Transportation&Package: Standard package is 25kg/bag, 40bags/pallet, 18MT/20' container. Zinc borate should be stored with very good seal, and transported as normal chemical goods. |
