1. Characteristics
Acrylamide, short as AM, and molecular formula is CH2CHCONH2. A pure form is white crystal, easily soluble in water, methanol, ethanol and propanol, dissolved slightly in ethyl acetate, chloroformand slightly soluble in benzene. Acrylamide molecular has two active centers, and combines sub-acidity and alkalescence reactions.

3. Application
Acrylamide is mainly used for production of water-soluble high molecular polymer, and applied in different industries, such as petroleum exploitation, coal washing, paper making, textile, sewage treatment, metallurgy, sugar production, building, pharmacy and agriculture, etc.
4. Package
Pack with paper plastic three-in-one compound woven bags, and 25 Kg in each bag. And manner of packing can also be determined according to users’ requirement. Its shelf life is 1 years. If there is not self-polymerization, liquid acrylamide over storage life would still be usable.
5. Storage, transportation and Attention
Acrylamide is an unstable matter for hot and moist with the characteristics of moderately toxic. During transportation, high temperature and humidity should be avoided; It is dangerous to human contact with exposed skin. Acrylamide solution is easily to deteriorate. According to the difference of Polymerization retarder and electrical conductivity, may be stored from three days to three months. If there is not self-polymerization, liquid acrylamide over storage life would still be usable.
The product is moisture absorbent, thus should be stored at a dry and ventilative storehouse to protect from damp and shower; with sealing storage, it should not be exposed to air and sunshine. Avoid contacting with strong oxidant and materials, like iron, copper and aluminum.
