The scale's weighing platform frame is engineered with a solid stamped stainless steel construction with no welds thus eliminating pitting corrosion commonly found when metals are welded. Pitting typically occurs as a result of hot cracking phenomena in welds and this pitting results in corrosion problems. The stamped metal design of the WeighSouth Stainless Steel Bench Scales eliminates all these problems.
The weighing platform stainless steel is a heavy gauge that is able to withstand real industrial knocks and shocks. The frame design provides up to 125% overload protection from damaging the load cell sensor in the center of the weighing platform. |
