Quantity: 4000Kilograms The application of fumed silica Our hydrophilic fumed silica is white, innoxious, insipid, amorphous fine chemical powder.Our fumed silica performs excellent nature of reinforcing, thickening, thixotropy, insulation, matting, resist sagging, and it is widely used in High Temperature Vulcanization(HTV) Rubber and Room Temperature Vulcanization(RTV) Rubber, coating, painting, unsaturated polyester (UP), insulation material, plastic, agriculture and medical macromolecule industrial fields. 1. Silicon Rubber Without reinforcing by fumed silica, the silicon rubber is useless, because of the strength is lower than 0.4 MPa. After reinforcing by fumed silica, the strength of silicon rubber was heightened to 20-40 times. So that kind of silicon rubber could be wildly used in avigation, aerospace, national defence industry, mechanical industry, architectural adornment, biomedicine and so on. 2. Adhesive, sealant Fumed silica is mainly used in adhesive and sealant as reinforcing agent, which can be effectively to control rheology of adhesive and sealant, and anti-sedimental, anti-sagging and reinforce the adhesive and sealant. 3. Coating, Painting, printing ink Fumed silica is wildly applied in coating, Painting and printing ink industries as rheology controller, anti-sedimental agent and disperser. It imparted the excellent properties of weatherability, scratch resistance and bonding strength to the coating, and improved the hardness of coat. 4. Rubber Fumed silica enhanced the mechanical property of rubbers vertically, reduced hysteresis of rubber materials, lower rolling resistance, but maintained perfect wet skidding resistance of tires. In the tyre industry, it improved the properties of cut-resistant, tear strength and reduced scrap of tread compound with adding fumed silica. Fumed silica can also promote the adhesive property between rubber and cord significantly when it was used in ply compounds. Compounding with rubber, fumed silica improved the property of abrasion resistance of rubbers with its size effect. Fumed silica is the best filler to reinforce the top grade colorful rubber products. 5. Resin Fumed silica is one of the fillers in plastic processing, which improved the strength, toughness, abrasion resistance, water resistance and age resistance of plastic products. And also, it improves the process property and appearance of the plastic products. 6. CMP (Chemical- mechanical polishing) There are most kinds of the CMP Slurries containing fumed silica in CMP industry, which occupy the main market and are mainly used in polishing of silicon wafer and titanium film. 7. cosmetic Being an additive in the cosmetic products , fumed silica can reflect violet effectively, and it can match with the other components perfectly. It is innocuity and odourless excellent stability, non-degradation and not changing its color with irradiating by violet. 8. Pharmaceutical Fumed silica can be used to eliminate dropsy and adsorb the secretion with its hydrophilicity and maintain water for the diarrhea patients. And it can be used as desiccant in dermatology. Fumed silica can also be used to adsorb the microbe and parvovirus with its perfect adsorptivity. Fumed silica can be made as drug carrier to lengthen efficient and promote absorbing the drug. 9. Agriculture Mixing fumed silica with trace elements, growth regulator and mineral manure, which is used to treat the seeds that can protect the seeds not to be damaged by mechanical and affected with damp, and also, that can improve the germination of seeds, decline the fertilizer and increase the crop yield. Fumed silica can be added in milk, juices, beer, oatmeal, meat and so on as food additive to retain freshness, antisepticise and flavor the foods. And fumed silica can be used to treat the sewage with organic flocculant to flocculate the toxicity. |
