Usage:
Butylamine is produced from butanol. It is a versatile intermediate with a variety of applications. Butylamines are used to produce agricultural chemicals (e.g. benomyl), rubber chemicals (e.g. di-n-butylthiourea), nylon plasticers (e.g. n-butylbenzenesulphonamide), alkyl alkanol amines (butyldiethanolamine) as well as fuel and oil additives. Butylamine is primarily used in the production of plasticizers for the nylon market. Butylamine is also used in the deodorant and cement additive processes, and as an intermediate for the production of agricultural chemicals, pharmaceuticals and dyes.
