Ethylamine is clear, colorless and easily volatile liquid with strong ammonical odour. It is miscible with water, ethanol and ethyl ether. Ethylamine has the general toxicity of amine compounds.

Usage:
Ethylamine is a versatile intermediate with a variety of applications. The biggest outlet for Ethylamine is for the production of herbicides in agricultural industry (e.g. atrazine, simazine and cyanazine). Ethylamine is also used to produce mining chemicals, flotation agents (e.g. isopropylethyl thiocarbamates) and in the production of polyurethane as a chain stopper to control the degree of polymerization.
Package and Storage:
Closed steel drum, net wt 150Kg.
Great care should be taken while opening drums and sample vials, because of its vapour pressure. Avoid contact with copper and its alloys.
MEA drums should be stored in a cool and well ventillated area; away from sources of ignition.
