  Properties:
  Triethylamine is a colorless liquid, free of suspended matter. It is miscible with nearly all common organic solvents, and with water at temperatures below 18.7 deg C.

  Usage:
  The main application of Triethylamine is the use as proton scavenger; however, it is also used in the production of diethylhydroxylamine and other organic compounds and as a curing agent in the resin production. Triethylamine also has multiple uses as an organic base in the preparation of quaternary ammonium products. It is commonly used a catalyst in the making of foundry sand molds, phenolic resins, polycarbonates, polyesters, and engineered plastics. Triethylamine has a variety of pharmaceutical applications where it is used as an extraction solvent. Triethylamine is also used in the synthesis of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, paints and coatings, and corrosion inhibitors.
