  White or off-white crystalline powder. Melting point 133-134, boiling point 230-232 and flashing point 137. It will sublime at 133-134(50-60mmHg) and be in needle form.Rather stable in the air. Soluble in alcohol and ether, and 1g 2-furoic acid can dissolve into 26mL cool water or 4mL boiling water.
