  Ropivacaine Mesylate Description
  
  Ropivacaine Mesylate is a new long-acting amide local anesthetic, as a pure isomer, with anesthesia and analgesic dual role, high concentration can produce surgical anesthesia, low concentration can effectively block the sensory nerve conduction and motor nerve. Its pharmacological properties for cardiac toxicity is low, sensory block separation is more obvious, there is vasoconstriction, so no need to add adrenaline. Clinical mainly for surgical anesthesia, local anesthesia and acute pain control.
  
  
  Ropivacaine Mesylate Application
  
  1. Ropivacaine Mesylate for topical anesthesia, including infants infants aged 12 years or older, with nerve block, epidural and intrathecal anesthesia. It also represents 1 to 12 years old pain in children with peripheral nerve block and tail epidural pain. It is also sometimes used for surgical pain in children with anesthesia.
  
  2. Ropivacaine Mesylate is usually combined with fentanyl for epidural analgesia, such as pregnant women, bupivacaine, usually intravenous liposomes, which are effective for treating animals. The experiment was secondary to local anesthetic overdose of severe cardiotoxicity in humans called Lipid Rescue.

  Usage:
  
  Local anesthetic is a substance that causes loss of sensation only to the area to which it is applied without affecting consciousness. Most local anesthetics structures have amino-ester or an amino-amide group which are linked to hydrophilic (secondary or tertiary amine) and to hydrophobic group (aromatics) on the other sid. The ester can be hydrolysed in plasma by the enzyme pseudocholinesterase into para-aminobenzoic acid. Amide is stable for longer acting and more systemic distribution. Ester types include Procaine (Novocain), Chloroprocaine (Nesacaine), Cocaine, Tetracaine (Pontocaine), Benzocaine, Tetracaine. Amide types include Lidocaine (Xylocaine), Mepivacaine(Carbocaine), Prilocaine (Citanest), Bupivacaine (Marcaine), Etidocaine (Duranest).
