Application
ANTIOXIDANT HONOX-1024 has the dual structures of hindered phenol and hydrazide with the functions as both antioxidant and metal deactivator. It is a kind of metal deactivator which can be used alone or work with other antioxidants. It is applicable to polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyamide, polyester. It is used as the antioxidant especially for phenolic resin. It is effectively preventing the polymeric substance from self-oxidation caused by transition metal ion (the remains of the catalyst). Excellent effects can be achieved when it is added to the polymeric substance and used in insulated electric wire and cable. The perfect melting nature makes it easily to mix into the substance mentioned above and other polymeric substances system without any dispersing problem.
