  REAGEN™ Aflatoxin M1 ELISA Test Kit is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of Aflatoxin M1 in cheese milk and milk powder.
  The unique features of the kit are:
   No need to extract the sample. The sample can be directly used for the ELISA
   High sensitivity (0.005 ng/g or ppb) and low detection limit in milk(0..005ppb).
   High reproducibility.
  
  Procedure Overview
  The method is based on a competitive colorimetric ELISA assay. The Aflatoxin M1 antibody has been coated in the plate wells. During the analysis, sample is added to the wells for incubation. After washing the plate, the Aflatoxin M1 -horseradish peroxidase (Aflatoxin M1-HRP) conjugate is added to the wells for incubation. If the Aflatoxin M1 residue is present in the sample, it will compete for the Aflatoxin M1 antibody, thereby preventing the Aflatoxin M1-HRP from binding to the antibody attached to the well. The resulting color intensity, after addition of the HRP substrate (TMB), has an inverse relationship with the Aflatoxin M1 residue concentration in the sample.
