Properties: it is a white orthorhombic crystal. it is easily deliquescent and agglomerative in the air. It is easily souble in water and the solution is acidic. It is slightly souble in alcohol, can be decomposed in hot water and the solution appears to be strong acidic. It can sublimate in high temperature. It etches glass. It will corrupt skin and it is toxic when you touch it!
Usages: it is used as chemical reagent, glass etchant, antiseptic, disinfector, analytical reagent, the solvent in beryllia producing beryllium metal and the treatment of the surface of silicon steel plate. It is also used as the oxidant in producing pottery and magnesium alloy.
Storage:It should be stored in dry storehouse, the maximum tempreture should be lower than 50oC. Avoid damage, contamination, and damp.
Transport:Prevent heat, rain and snow in the transportation.
