  Solubility in water: 0℃ at 41.22g, 25℃ at 43.47g, 100℃ at 50.42g. Insoluble in ethanol and acetone. 0.1mol / L aqueous solution of pH 5.5. The relative density of 1.77. Refractive index 1.521. Low toxicity, median lethal dose (rat, oral) 3000mG/kG. Irritant. Ammonium sulfate is mainly used as fertilizer, suitable for a variety of soils and crops.
