Properties:Brownish red powder A little smell.Relative density is 1.70-1.78g/cm .Insoluble water alcohol and gasoline;soluble in acetone,benzene and carbon tetrachlorie.Storage is stable.
Application:Safe-processing secondary accelerator or use in black colors.Fast at high vulcanization temperatures.Used in NR.SBR.IIR.NBR and EPDM.Better cure efficiency than TMTD and PZ.lowest consumption in dithiocarbamates.In generally,it is unsuitable to natural rubber.CDD is easy incipient scorch,generally adding kinds of thiazole and sulfonamide to improve its safety.CDD mainly used at carbon,industrial products etc.CDD can be used as main accelerator in styrene rubber at level of 0.2-0.75 phr in combinations with 1.5-0.2 phr of sulfonamide and 2.0-0.5 phr of sulfur.CDD can be used as second accelerator at level of 0.05-0.2 phr in combinations with 0.5-2.2 phr of sulfonamide and 2.5-1.5 phr of sulrur.CDD can be used as main accelerator in butyl rubber at the level of 1.0-2.0 phr in combination with 0.5-2.0 phr of sulronamide and 2.0-1.0 phr of sulfur.
