Detailed Description:
Cas No. :67-48-1
Choline is especially important
to fowls. The amino acids and the
lecithinum, composed of choline,
are transferred to the tissues of
fowls to prevent fat from
accumulating on liver and kidney,
and to speed up fowl's growth and
hatchability and laying rate.
Choline cannot be synthetized in
the bodies of young animals in
which the choline needed is
gained completely from the feed.
Therefore, choline must be added
to the feed for young animals.
