Applications

The largest use of Chromic Acid is in the Electroplating Industry. Electrodeposition of chromium bith
as decorative and as hard chrome types are done with chromic acid only. Other uses are as dilute
solutions for passivating or inhibition on metal surfaces, as an oxidising agent for organic chemicals
and as a laboratory re-agent.
