Properties: when heated at 895 C , Co2O3 will begin to turn into CoO and the proportion depends on the temperature and burning time. Both CoO and Co2O3 is insoluble in water and alcohol.
Applications: mainly applied in manufacturing different cobalt salts, dyes and pottery and ceramic glaze. A lso used as oxidizer and catalyst, stain and blinder in many industries such as glass, ceramic, magnetic material.
