1.Cyclohexanone is an important chemical raw material and a major intermediate in the manufacture of nylon, Caprolactam and Adipic acid.
2.An important industrial solvent, used as an excellent solvent for organophosphorus insecticides and many similar pesticides, as a solvent for dyes, as a viscous solvent for piston type aviation lubricants, and as a solvent for fats, waxes, and rubbers.
