  ·Soluble with various cellulosic resins, rubbers, ethylenic resins and has good film-forming, adhesion and water-proofing properties.
  ·Extensively used as solvent for producing methyl-ethyl ketone peroxide, fluro-containing anticorrosive coatings.
  ·Plasticizer for resins of cellulose acetate
  ·Ingredient of mosquito-expellant, intermediate for organic synthesis etc..
