Many microelements are necessary for rice’s healthy growth, especially like N(nitrogen), P(phosphorus), K(potassium) and Si(silicon). Si (silicon) is necessary for rice’s growth. Rice may get brown stain or even die when it’s short of Mg ( magnesium), as Mg is a vital part of chlorophyll. The stem and root would die at early time and the protein content get lower when rice is lacking Ca (calcium).
For different rice of early season rice, second rice, and singe cropping rice, fertilizers should be applied appropriately, and certain fertilizer should be added by checking leaves’ color to meet the growth.
