Detailed Description:
Product Name: Leveling Agent
Item No.: SilibaseCP-3777
Chemical Name: Fluorine modified acrylate
(Similar to Efka 3777)
Description :
SilibaseCP-3777 is a fluorine-modified polyacrylate ecoatable leveling agent, providing excellent leveling and substrate wetting. Act as one slip and leveling agent, SilibaseCP-3777 leveling agent improves leveling, prevents cratering, helps substrate wetting, acts as a defoamer and de-aeration aid, and does not interfere with intercoat adhesion.
Nature
Composition: Fluorine modified polyacrylate copolymer
Appearance: clear to slightly turbid liquid
Specific gravity: about 0.98
Non-volatile matter: 69.0-72.0%
Solvent: Xylene
Refractive index: 1.475-1.480 (25 ℃)
Application areas: solvent-based coatings
Features and uses
Fluorine-modified polymer leveling agent with excellent leveling and recoatability;
Improve substrate wetting and prevent shrinkage, pinholes, fish eyes and other defects of the coating film, and obtain the
best leveling;
Stable properties are not easily hydrolyzed, have excellent light resistance and aging resistance, and are not volatile.
Therefore, in addition to improving leveling, the coating system also has the effect of plasticizing;
Good compatibility with most coating systems.
SilibaseCP-3777 leveling agent is especially suitable for baking enamels based on alkyd, acrylic or polyester resins,
polyurethane coatings, two-pack epoxy coatings and air-drying alkyd systems.
Addition and usage
The amount of addition for SilibaseCP-3777 Fluorine modified acrylate Leveling Agent depends on the coating system, generally 0.1-0.5% of the total amount;
Please test the most appropriate dosage and compatibility with the coating system before use.
Store
Store in a cool and ventilated place, keep the container tightly, away from heat and fire, and store at 0 to 40℃.
Safety
SilibaseCP-3777 Fluorine modified acrylate Leveling Agent contains solvents that need to be handled carefully to avoid contact with skin and eyes. For other information, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet.
