  6. Uses: Preservative antimicrobial agent, widely used in food, pharmaceutical industry, cigarette, electroplating, mordant from dry printing industries. Plasticiser, antifreeze.

  8. Storage & transportation: Kept in tightly closed containers, it should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from moisture and hot.
