Property : deep green , metal gloss crystal or powder. it is purple salt base dyestuffs. soluble in water and alcohol. insoluble in ether.
Use: biologic dyeing agent. It is one of the most strong nuclear dyestuffs. it can dye elastic tissue and fuchsin grain. to test aldehyde, ketone, bromine and some oxidizer and methyl alcohol etc.
