Product introduction: FR-2136MB is a halogen-free and environmentally friendly flame retardant masterbatch with polypropylene as the carrier, which can be used for various flame retardant polypropylene products. Fully compliant with the EU's 2011/65/EU "Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment" (ie RoHS Directive), and the requirements of environmental regulations such as REACH regulations. The flame retardant components of FR-2136MB use phosphorus and nitrogen as flame retardant elements, which play a flame retardant role by forming an expanded carbon layer to block oxygen and fire sources. The flame retardant grade of its flame retardant polypropylene products can reach UL94 V-0 (0.75mm), GWIT 750℃, GWFI 960℃.FR-2136MB can adapt to a wider range of processing conditions, especially can be used in glass fiber reinforced PP, can reach UL 94 V-0 (1.5mm). This flame retardant also has the characteristics of low density of flame retardant products, low smoke generation, and small mold corrosion. In addition, the use of master batches can also avoid excessive dust generation in the production process, improve the dispersion effect of flame retardants, and improve product performance.
Product properties:
Appearance White grain P% 12 min
Moisture 0.5%max. Density (g/cm3) approx 1.4
Processing Notes:
(1) The thermal decomposition temperature of FR-2136MB in nitrogen is 270℃, and the processing temperature can be adjusted according to the specific situation. It is suggested that the processing temperature of the twin-screw should not be too high on the premise of ensuring the dispersion and uniform blending of the flame retardant, so as to avoid a small amount of decomposition of the flame retardant and cause slight foaming. At the same time, a certain degree of vacuum must be maintained during the twin-screw extrusion process.
(2) Screens can be added in the extrusion process of non-fiber systems, but the mesh number of the screens should not be too high.
(3)Substances in the system that have an adverse effect on flame retardant: some inorganic fillers will affect the flame retardant effect, and calcium carbonate will seriously affect the flame retardant effect. When adding talc, barium sulfate and wollastonite, it is necessary to appropriately increase the flame retardant When the addition of carbon black exceeds 0.5% (or the addition of black masterbatch exceeds 1%), the flame retardant effect will decrease; additives or toners containing Br and Cl (such as phthalocyanine green) may cause flame retardant agent fails.
Packaging/Storage: 25kg/bag; transported as general chemicals, stored in a dry and cool place, avoid direct sunlight.
