    Chemical properties

     

    White powder or block form. The relative density: 2.534. Melting point: 1109 °C. Soluble in water, cannot soluble in ethanol. Aqueous alkaline. The solubility in 100g water at 25 °C is 187 g. PH of the aqueous solution at a concentration of 1% = 10.2. KPP has all the properties of the other condensed phosphates

    Application:

     

    Industrial grade: Mainly used in non-cyanide electroplating. It can be used as a pretreatment agent and pyrophosphate plating solution, and The detergent composition in compound fabric, detergent for metal surface, detergent components for bottles, additive for all kinds of detergents. Clay dispersing agent, dispersant and buffering agent of pigments and dyes in ceramic industry. KPP is also used to remove a small amount of ferric iron ions in water, improving the quality of bleaching in Dye industry, and analytical reagent, hydrogen peroxide stabilizer and soap stuffing,etc.

    Food grade: KPP can be used as emulsifiers, texture improving agents, chelating agents in the food industry, and The raw material of soda for pasta products. It is mainly used together with other condensed phosphates, usually used to prevent canned aquatic products produce struvites, and the canned fruits discoloration; increase the degree of swelling of ice cream, yield of ham and sausage; ground water binding capacity of the flesh of fish; improve the taste of noodle dishes and enhance the yield, and prevent the cheese aging.
