  Rotary kiln refers to rotating calcination kiln, belongs to construction material equipment. Solid fuel includes coke, anthracite, coal, coal ash. Liquid fuel contains heavy oil, residual oil, biological fuel. Gas fuel is coal gas, natural gas, coke oven gas. The fuel must meet two essential requirement in rotary kiln calcination production line.

  First of all, when the fuel burns in rotary kiln,it should guarantee the high temperature in rotary kiln.the temperature in rotary kiln is about 1300-1450 degree centigrade, the fuel flame in rotary kiln is not less than 1550degree centigrade. Good fuel form Longer flame in furnace, which makes the material stay in high temperature range for 10 to 20 min, to facilitate the formation of tricalcium silicate, improve the quality of clinker produced. The flame temperature mainly depends on the calorific value of coal and rotary kiln heat capacity per unit time. At present our country mainly adopts bituminous coal as fuel of rotary kiln, calorific value is in commonly 5000-5000 kcal/kg is advisable. Volatile control in 20% - 50%, the less ash and moisture cintaining the better in fuel.
