  Glossy white hexahedral crystals or white crystalline powder. Slightly bitter taste. Sublimation is 145 ~ 148 °C. Melting point is 293 ~ 295 °C (decomposition).It is stable in the inorganic acid aqueous solution in the presence of hydrocarbons. 1/g dissolved in approximately 40ml per 100ml of water and some acetic acid. Slightly soluble in ethanol (0.07%). Soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid and alkali hydroxide and carbonate solution. Insoluble in ether.
