  1. Electrode of lithium battery coated with Nano-alumina has good properties of heat insulation, insulation and high security.
  2. Adulterating nano aluminum in LiCoO2 can form a solid solution, stable lattice and increase its rate characteristics and cycling performance.
  3. LiCoO2 coated with nano alumina has good thermal stability, cycle performance and overcharge capacity. Nano alumina in LiCoO2 can restrain oxygen production and decomposition of LiPF6, avoid LiCoO2 contacting with electrolyte directly, reduce the loss of electrochemical rate capacity, and improve the electrochemical specific capacity of LiCoO2.
  4. Improve the battery’s voltage, thereby enhance the safety of battery.
  5. The reversible capacity of spinel LiMn2O4 battery material improved by nano alumina is 107mAh/g. And its capacity-keeping rate is 90% min which is better than the similar products in the world. Nano alumina is the first materials used in high-power Li-ion battery.
