MIBK referred to as Hexanone, 4-Methyl-2-pentanone, which is clear, colorless, flammable, volatile liquid, with an odor.
It is an active solvent for synthetic resins including cellulosics, vinyl copolymers, acrylics, alkyds, polyesters, epoxies, coatings and ink.
