  REAGEN™Nitroimidazole ELISA Test Kit provides a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of Nitroimidazole in feed, meat (beef, chicken and pork), eggs, honey.
  The unique features of the kit are:
   High recovery (70% - 95%), and cost-effective extraction methods for various samples.
   A quick ELISA assay (less than 1.5 hours regardless of number of samples).
   High reproducibility.
  
  Procedure Overview
  The method is based on a competitive colorimetric ELISA assay. The nitroimidazole antibody has been coated in the plate wells. During the analysis, sample is added along with the nitroimidazole -horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. If the target is present in the sample, it will compete for the nitroimidazole antibody, thereby preventing the nitroimidazole- HRP from binding to the antibody attached to the well. The resulting color intensity, after addition of substrate((TMB), has an inverse relationship with the target concentration in the sample.
