  Organoclay for paints grease oil drilling fluids
  Organoclay CP-23 is an easy dispersing organo clay rheological additive made from bentonite. It is used in solvent and resin systems covering low polarity to high polarity range. Compared with CP-22, CP-23 behaves better dispersion and wider application range.

  Advantages
  High purity, low silica content.
  Wide application range, fit for most polarity solvent.
  Fine dispersion and particle size.
  Good self-activated property, Polar activator can be eliminated
  Gel is very transparent and of light color.
  Thixotropy with low viscosity. High anti-settling and anti-sag performance.

  Using
  CP-23 behaves superior dispersion in most of solvent. It can be added directly in powder under high shear condition. Addition level is commonly 0.2%~2.0% (7%-15% in greases) of total formulation by weight. Polar activator can be eliminated, but small dosage of polar activator is helpful to achieve better performance. High shear is helpful for quick dispersing.
