It is used in the manufacture of optical glass, through uv glass, insulating glass, glass-ceramic and opacified glass, etc., in order to improve the dispersion coefficient of glass and the ability of penetrating the ultraviolet. It is also used in the production of pharmaceuticals, pesticide, surfactant.
