1.Colourless,transparent oily liquid,b.p.138°C(5mmHg),freezing point -21~-12.5°C,viscosity 9.5 c.p.(25°C),refractive index 1.444(25°C).

2.Insoluble in majority organic solvent,soluble with most synthetic and natural resin mutually,but insoluble with water soluble resin .

3.Used as an interior plasticizer,may be copolymerized with monomers like vinyl chloride,vinyl acetate,styrene,acrylate etc. These copolymers are usually used in preparing coating,adhesive,surface conditioning agent,etc.
