  Description:
  
  Procaine hydrochloride is a kind of local anesthetics.It can temporarily block the transmission of nerve fibers.Therefore,it has a nesthesia effect, strong function, low toxicity, and no addiction.Because its weak penetration through skin and mucous membrane,it is not suitable for surface anesthesia.it is mainly used for clinical infiltration, spine, and conduction block.
  
  
  Applications:
  
  Procaine HCl is a local anesthetic drug of the amino ester group. It is used primarily to reduce the pain of intramuscular injection of penicillin, and it is also used in dentistry. Owing to the ubiquity of the trade name Novocain, in some regions procaine is referred to generically as novocaine. It acts mainly by being a sodium channel blocker.Today it is used therapeutically in some countries due to its sympatholytic, anti-inflammatory, perfusion enhancing, and mood enhancing effects.
  
  Procaine hcll is indicated for the production of local or regional analgesia and anesthesia by local infiltration and peripheral nerve block techniques.
  
  Procaine hcl, when taken orally, enters the body by being mainly absorbed through the villi in the small
  
  intestine. Experiments show that the bulk of the procaine HCl enters the bloodstream molecularly intact. In
  
  the blood stream procaine HCl is rapidly hydrolyzed by the enzyme pseudo-cholinesterase into PABA and
  
  DEAE the two components of the procaine molecule. These metabolites are removed by the liver,
  
  chemically changed, and excreted in the urine.
